Background:
Discovering the swirling interconnectedness of all living things, Lucas Welling decides to travel to Guatemala to meet up with a friend. He was walking on a path to the valley of the dead when he realized he has a life threatening disease.
He initiates dream analysis and begins to contact spiritual guides. He encounters a mystical Shaman along the Pacific coast of Guatemala in a remote fishing village called Las Lisas. He has no clear idea who this individual is, only knowing of him through a liaison. After six weeks of traveling through the multitude of natural splendors in Guatemala, he travels to the peninsula, only to discover the very cause of his disease and the tools of transcendence he would need to set himself free.
